The significance of Bob Dylan turning The Beatles onto marijuana was a "new door open" for The Fabs. Their usual way of thinking changed immediately and Beatle-Music would go through its first metamorphosis, as well. Inspirations from Dylan's music was the reason they met in the first place... John, especially, couldn't wait to meet Dylan and said it was on the level of meeting Elvis.
