EITHER WAY - SHE WINS (Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, James Dean)

from $199.99

The setting for the painting EITHER WAY SHE WINS is... 1950s Hollywood, California. Our heroes, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and James Dean were colossal icons in the glamorous world of Cinema at that time. In a playful "staged" arm wrestling contest, James and Elvis go at it for "the prize". In other words, in their minds, whomever wins - gets "the girl". But the beautiful Marilyn knows better because... "Either Way - She Wins".

Shannon says: I created this painting during the time I was "stuck" waiting for a flight back home to Los Angeles California, while on Long Island, NY. The reason I was waiting for a flight is because September 11th 2001 had just happened and all flights were arrested for quite some time. So to occupy my time through the devastating disaster, I bought some canvas and began to paint. When I was finished... the painting you are connected to was created.
